Hill Crest follows a whole health approach when treating mental illness. The whole health approach uses virtually every aspect of the patient’s life as treatment factors. Consideration is given to medical and psychiatric issues, medication, environment, diet and the patient’s support system.
Common / Co-occurring Disorders
Patients with psychiatric disorders often have more than one disorder. They are also likely to have medical issues that need to be addressed. When co-occurring disorders are not treated together, one disorder typically worsens as the other disorder improves. Contact us for a no-cost assessment if you or someone you know is experiencing these types of issues.
Detoxification for Alcohol/Substance Abuse
Hill Crest’s Detox Program focuses on the stabilization of patients with alcohol/substance dependency. The program is led by a Clinical Director, a licensed clinical staff and a dedicated Discharge Care Coordinator who will assure that every client completes a safe detox protocol. Contact us for a no-cost assessment if you or someone you know is experiencing these types of issues.
Hill Crest Team Approach
Hill Crest believes that no one approach is sufficient to achieve complete recovery. A multidisciplinary team is assigned to each patient that develops a plan addressing all aspects of the patient’s psychiatric and medical needs.
The multidisciplinary team approach helps patients develop the skills necessary to gain control of their psychiatric disorder/s, improve their support system, increase self-esteem and establish a stable foundation for long-term recovery.
