Our Philosophy
Hill Crest will provide a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic
environment in which the adolescent/child is encouraged to gain an
awareness of his/her feelings, thoughts, needs, and behaviors. The
individual will take this awareness and channel it towards
appropriate ways of coping. The family and the adolescent/child are
encouraged to be active participants in the design and
implementation of the individualized treatment plan.
A psychosocial, family-oriented approach is taken in nurturing and
shaping each individual and family to reach their full potential in
coping with stress, developing intimacy, and achieving success in
life.
The RTC program is accredited by the Joint Commission and
certified by the State of Alabama Department of Mental Health.
